How to make dried flowers smell good?
Our dried flowers have a natural smell, which we love! However you may want your dried bunches or arrangements to be more fragrant, the simple way to do this is to give them a small spritz with a natural, herbal oil - think rose hip, peppermint, honeysuckle, lavender, and lemon oil. Don’t soak the flowers as this could affect how long they last. Alternatively, if you have access to herbs, you could arrange some of your dried blooms with a few sprigs, or add a few small pieces to your wreaths and garlands, to add some scent
Are dried flowers poisonous / toxic to cats?
Unfortunately, some dried flowers are just as toxic to cats as their fresh counterparts. Even stems that aren't completely toxic can still give your cat a bad case of vomiting or diarrhoea.
How long do dried flowers last?
If kept in ideal conditions, dried flowers can last for many years - the colours may fade over time and they may shed if knocked. To ensure your dried flowers last as long as possible we recommend that you find them a home in a cold, dry room - ideally away from windowsills and extreme heat.
